Fundraising
In responding to requests for grants the Club raises approximately £20,000 each year. Every penny of profit raised at a fund raising event is used to respond to the applications that we receive. The national Lockdown in 2020 meant that we were not able to raise money through traditional events, but our reserves allowed us to continue responding to grant requests. Things got back to normal in 2022 and we have been active in the community through a variety of events ever since including:
"Tin shakes" at various Supermarkets in Maidstone and Malling Boroughs, The Mall Maidstone, Attendance at various fetes and Summer fayres in Loose, Coxheath and Bearsted and Maidstone River Festival.
